The Crossroads Inn is one of Main Street Baptist’s outpost ministries. The Crossroads is located outside of Oneonta and provides transitional, supportive housing and free transportation to homeless individuals. The residents may be transitioning from jail or homelessness. Often in addition to housing, the residents are facing challenges related to mental health issues and/or substance use disorders. Crossroads seeks to assist residents in finding permanent housing, employment and navigating the healthcare system.
Crossroads Team ~ Ministry Introduction and Leadership Expectations
Our church seeks to build relationships with Crossroads residents through weekly game nights and enfolding those who visit our church into various ministries and relationships.
If you would like to be involved in building relationships with residents of the Crossroads then this ministry may be for you.
We are currently looking for a coordinator for this ministry team.
Final Words
This ministry will not only be a blessing to the Crossroads residents but also to you as you give of yourself to those in need. You'll have the ability to share Christ's love with individuals going through difficult periods in their own personal lives. You may never know how Christ will use the words you say while playing games and spending time with them to fill their lives with hope. Thanks for considering this ministry.
