COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Groups are the best way to find community here at MSBC. A Community Group is a group of 8-15 adults who gather together at least twice a month not only to study the Bible, but also to encourage one another while forming meaningful relationships with fellow Christians. Don’t do the Christian life alone!

Our community groups begin in October and recess in May. Most groups are a mix of couples and singles, but some are more affinity-based. The listing goes from the start to the end of the week.

Understanding the Gospels

Sundays, October 1-November 19, 12:30-1:30/45pm. (Class recesses for monthly potluck dinners on the 2nd Sunday of the month)
Location: Bluefields (40 Walnut) Description : The class helps students appreciate each gospel writer’s contribution to the story of Jesus, highlighting their key themes and emphases. The study includes discussion on important themes and ideas presented in the Gospels, based on homework assignments. Contact Pastor Phil for homework assignments.

Women’s Bible Study

Description: a nine-week study, designed to help students create a greater place in their hearts and lives for Jesus. This study focuses on learning how to move toward a more trusting relationship with Jesus and surrendering more of our lives to him. Not your typical Bible study homework, this study includes a 45-day devotional format and a make-your-own meditation verse pack. $35 for materials.

Whether you are just out of high school, a centurion, or somewhere in between, we would be ecstatic if you joined us. You will be accepted and you will make friends as a part of the community, living the Christian life together. The first 15 minutes is coffee and a light breakfast, followed by a Bible study, and small group discussion. Our studies do not require weekly attendance, so come when you can.
No sign up required. Just come.

Creatives Group
